Meet the Pye Team

Colleen Pye

I was born in Omaha, NE. I am the number 4 child to Martin and Sharon Melia. I have 3 brothers and a sister. This family is currently expanded to 50.. just keeps growing. I was raised most of my childhood life in Omaha. Growing up in Omaha.. we lived in many homes. My dad and mom were very passionate about remodeling.. and "MOVING WALLS"... there wasn't a wall that my dad could not get moved. So I grew up to see potential in USED homes.. It stuck with me today. My grandfather was a Realtor with NP Dodge... I used to go with him on the weekends.. who else was going to carry all those keys? My love for real estate started way back then. We moved again .. this time leaving for Olathe, KS. I went to high school ( Olathe North) and college in Overland Park.

Through a series of divine events... I went to Norfolk, VA working for Michaels Arts and Crafts. I was later transfered back to the midwest.. Cedar Rapids , IA.. it is here when it all came together. My mover ( Al Pye III )from Graebel Van Lines.. arrived at my door. It was love at first sight. I told the people at work I had just met my husband. (Of course they did not believe me... no one did) He moved me back to Kansas, where I continued to work for Michaels. He came back 6 weeks later.. being the professional, and asked me out. I have been with him every since. We married 6 months later... we knew 2 weeks into meeting. We have a son, Christopher. He is 12... and a great part of my support system. Al also has a son, who is married.. and so yes... I have grandchildren.. 2 girls.

I have had many careers.. one in adult care nursing, 13 years at Michaels Arts and Crafts, 12 years in the moving industry combined with Graebel Van Lines, A Better Tripp and my husband's company, A & L Transfer and Storage. All the skills acquired through those careers have lead me to what I love.. REAL ESTATE. It is not just a job.. it is fun to me.. and I love the end result of every transaction.. new beginnings. All of the experience I have acquired , I have always used the GOLDEN RULE... treat them like I would want to be treated... let me tell you I am as demanding as they come when it comes to customer service. I will exceed all your needs.. and be here for years to come. (making home buying and selling as easy as PIE.. Pye that is.)

I love a glass of wine ( or 2), love margaritas, Mexican food... okay I love all food. Need a great place to eat or drink..... ask me... I will go with you.

I am currently working on 3 designations in Real Estate.. CRS, and Home Staging, and EPRO. Education in real estate is very important in keeping up with current trends in sales , marketing and negotiating.

Terri Garza

Terri Garza is a Realtor and Team Member for The Pye Team of RE/MAX Realty Center, in Cypress, Texas. She brings a unique enthusiasm and energy to helping her clients find just the right home. She enjoys the challenge of getting to know her clients well enough to find houses that they feel could become their home.

Prior to joining The Pye Team, Terri spent 10 plus years as a partner in her husband’s marketing consulting business. While there she managed client accounts, wrote ad copy and managed client billing. Before entering the marketing arena, Terri honed her real estate skills working in commercial property management for various high profile properties in San Antonio.

Garza graduated from St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas, with a degree in English. A native of Deer Park, Texas, Garza is married to her college sweetheart and has four active children. An advocate for Down Syndrome Awareness, Terri also enjoys spending time with her family, playing tennis, and just recently began training for the Houston ½ Marathon.

Bette Gerhold

Bette is a seasoned agent with experience and knowledge of the residential market in Houston and surrounding areas.She has achieved nationally recognized designation such as the Accredited Buyer’s Representation, Graduate Realtor® Institute, Performance Management Network, Short Sale Foreclosure Resource and the At Home with Diversity certificates.

Her drive to become an expert in her field has brought her to accomplish production awards with RE/MAX including the 100% Club for two years in a row.Bette is dedicated to giving her clients the service they deserve.This is why much of her business stems from previous client referrals.If you choose Bette to represent you, be prepared for a long lasting relationship.

On a personal note, Bette, is an avid gardener, and loves bird watching.Her family, husband Richard and three almost grown children take off to the mountains for their favorite vacation time to ski and snowboard.

Bette joined the Pye Team in May.
